Apparent Networks recently announced the addition of Amtel Communications, the New Zealand provider of Interactive Intelligence’s unified IP business communications services, to the Powered by PathView partner program.

As a new partner, Amtel will utilize PathView solutions to enhance the delivery of pre-deployment network readiness assessment services to reduce rollout risks and post-deployment support costs of voice over IP (VoIP), video, document management and unified communications (UC) installations.

PathView enables Amtel to offer continuous network performance and application response time monitoring services to more than 700 customers. Amtel and its customer will also benefit from the new capability to quickly troubleshoot internal and external networks using PathView’s hop-by-hop network diagnostics.

During the past few months we have been developing new features for PathView Cloud that address the common challenges of network performance management. We have heard from customers and our partners about the issues they are facing, and have responded with an upgrade to PathView Cloud that specifically enables managed services providers and VoIP providers to more quickly assess the network and identify the problems.

MSPs can continue to expand their portfolio – and increase revenue streams – with the new MSP branding, MSP organization and MSP customer deployment analysis capabilities. PathView Cloud makes the provider’s job easier through efficient tracking of PathView Cloud services delivered to their customers and export reports for customer billing.

PathView Cloud now also offers the ability to determine the networks’ readiness for VoIP prior to deployment. Assessments can be performed on up to 2,500 network paths at a single time to ensure overall network readiness for VoIP. Users can assess their entire network at once to identify whether networks can handle the additional traffic of new data applications.

These are some of the great new features that we are excited to bring to service providers, IT consultants and network managers. You can read more about product upgrades here ,and you can also just download the free trial and try them out for yourself!

Just a few short weeks after the launch of the Powered by PathView partner program, Apparent Networks is excited to announce two of its newest managed services partners: LinkStatus and Tier3 Technologies.

LinkStatus, the most recent Powered by PathView partner, extends the program across the pond to the U.K. where LinkStatus provides services for managing network and application performance over WAN and the Internet. LinkStatus has already seen the measureable benefits of PathView Cloud such as increased revenue streams and an enhanced services portfolio.

LinksStatus’ worldwide customers are also realizing the advantages of PathView Cloud’s capabilities for improved network performance. As Application Delivery Manager at LinkStatus Cliff Chapman described in a recent case study, PathView gave him the capability to “understand the degree to which network infrastructure issues are contributing to poor application performance” which proved to have critical value for his customers.

Similarly, Tier3 Technologies has been able to bring its services to the next level using PathView Cloud. PathView Cloud’s superior monitoring, assessing and troubleshooting features have enabled Tier3 to better optimize their customers’ networks and drive business productivity. Powered by PathView is a comprehensive partner program that offers resellers and managed services providers (MSPs) new improved capabilities, support resources and opportunities for new revenue streams. The Powered by PathView partner program also features a new managed services edition of PathView that provides new capabilities for MSPs to offer a private-labeled dashboard and reports to their customers.

Apparent Networks’ PathView product family includes PathView Cloud, PathView and the recently released PathView microAppliance. These products enable organizations to test and troubleshoot the end-to-end performance of network paths, even through third-party networks. This year, Apparent Networks has experienced rapid adoption of the PathView product family, a significant portion of which was driven by resellers and MSPs. IT services providers have quickly discovered how they can leverage PathView as a value-added service for network monitoring and troubleshooting for their customers. Based on this growing partner momentum, Apparent is now making it even easier for partners to sell PathView products through the Powered by PathView program.
Apparent Networks is excited to launch the program with several large IT services companies already on board including Tier 3 technologies. Stay tuned for more information on this partnership and many more to come…
